Base plates provide a convenient way to assemble and transport any configuration of Luminos positioners and accessories. Each base plate is a solid aluminum block with 6.25mm to 25mm or 1/4" to 1" spacing and machined M6 x 1mm or 1/4-20 threads (Metric and Imperial unit models available). The stiff and rigid base plate provides a solid surface for the equipment to be positioned on in a compact and portable package. In many applications this eliminates the need for optical tables, benches or other mounting systems. Rubber feet provide vibration isolation and protect the working surface.
